Every year, thousands of fairgoers stop by the Iowa Egg Council booth for an Egg-On-A-Stick. Volunteers help create a fun and welcoming experience while sharing one of the Iowa State Fair’s most iconic traditions. Whether you’re volunteering for the first time or returning for another year, we’d love to have you join us.

FAQ

Volunteer shifts are 3 hours.

9 am – 12 pm
12 pm – 3 pm
3 pm – 6 pm

No experience or prior knowledge is necessary! Training and instructions will be provided.

Yes, we love having groups volunteer together! Shifts are limited to 6 people.

Your volunteer shirt and your choice of bottoms. The agriculture building is not air conditioned.
