Another Fair in the Books
The 2026 Iowa State Fair has officially come to a close, and what a fair it was!
From serving up thousands of eggs-on-a-stick to meeting fairgoers from across Iowa, the Iowa Egg Council loved being part of another year of one of Iowa’s favorite traditions.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth, grabbed an egg-on-a-stick, said hello, and helped make this year’s fair so special.

For another year, fairgoers made their way to the Iowa Egg Council booth for one of the fair’s most recognizable snacks: the Egg on a Stick.

Behind the Booth
The egg-on-a-stick experience wouldn’t happen without the people behind it.
Our volunteers spent their time greeting fairgoers, serving eggs, keeping things moving and helping share the story of Iowa eggs. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who gave their time and energy to make the booth a success.
